INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR RADIO GROUND STATION

 

This is our 30 metre dish!!

 

The IARGS Group has been formed to take advantage of a redundant 30 metre satellite dish at Carnarvon in Western Australia. This Dish was used by OTC and was instrumental in the Apollo 11 Moonwalk Project.

Our Aim is to establish a multi-band Amateur Radio station onsite as well as encourage the public to view Ham activities first hand and educate them in communications that are now invisible behind a Computer Screen.
