POISONOUS   PLANTS

TONALA RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK AND SAILING SITE
There are many plants that have the potential to poison our pets. A great number are plants that are literally growing right under our noses in our own backyards. We have attempted to list some in the hope that there will be no pointless accidents.

We have included both common name(s) and botanical names(s) in order for more accurate analysis. Sometimes common names cover more than one species of plant, so play it safe and heed all of them. Descriptions are not included as most will be known to you all. If you are unsure either visit your local library or nursery.

A general rule of thumb, many of us like to grow our own fruit and vegetables. Do not allow your dogs access to these areas as most if not all of these plants can have a detrimental effect upon your pet.
