The 2003 dinner of the Trailer Sailer
Association of South Australia was held on Saturday 19th July 2003.
It was a night to acknowledge the sailing year just gone and a full list of the
prizegetters can be found on the awards page via the link below. 79 people
attended the buffet style meal at the Henley Sailing Club by our chosen
caterers, Golden Roast, and the awards which followed. The tables were decorated
in a boating theme with channels drawn on the white paper tablecloths. Our
sponsors of the Association were proudly promoted on these same table covers via
their advertising slogans and product information being written all over the
channels. Members were encouraged to add to the existing pictures which included
dolphins, fish, trees and boats with the textas provided. It was amazing to see
the works of art which we had begun with and also those that developed over the
course of the evening.
On the tables were model cardboard boats,
which Linda had made - these had been
personalised for our
sponsors which were,

These boats had corporate logos and details promoting each of the companies and our sponsors were delighted to take them home with them at the end of the evening. Other boats were similarly decorated but covered with photos of members at various events of the sailing year. At the end of the night boats were taken home by members.
