The Tilly TOE  Trophy

This prestigious award - "The Tilly TOE" is a Tracking & Performance Trophy named after my dog Tilly.
By its initials "The Tilly TOE" recognizes an outstanding achievement in Tracking, Obedience and Endurance.

Available to the first Tracking Champion Rhodesian Ridgeback in South Australia it is awarded to the one who achieves this important milestone, who additionally is able to demonstrate a commitment to the performance characteristics of the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed. It is an award that gives merit to the achievements of both dog and owner.

A remarkable achievement was made in 2008 for the Rhodesian Ridgeback breed in South Australia.
Dual Ch (T) Himaya Jaari Jais Pride CCD ET "Ishea" bred/owned/trained by Sheila Smith became the 1st Tracking Champion and Dual Champion Rhodesian Ridgeback of S.A. This event did not go unnoticed but little was done to celebrate it. By 2008 Ishea had gained a total of 4 titles....Tracking Champion, Conformation Champion. Community Companion Dog & Endurance Test Titles.

"Ishea's" Tracking Champion title was a 1st for the breed in South Australia, (a 2nd for the breed nationally and the 1st bitch for the breed nationally)
Fulfilling every possible aspect of the TOE - Ishea has titles in Tracking, Obedience, Endurance and Conformation.

In 2009 Ishea's daughter T Ch Himaya Ishla Flythe Flag "Lacey" also bred/owned/trained by Sheila Smith gained the title of Tracking Champion - it was the 2nd for the breed in South Australia and the 3rd Tracking Champion for the breed nationally.

Due to Sheila's remarkable achievement in achieving the first 2 Tracking Champion Rhodesian Ridgeback Titles in this state, my decision to award "The Tilly TOE"  was to award it jointly to both dogs as there is an ongoing commitment of a Tracking Team. They have been inspirational to others like myself and are frontline in educating the community demonstrating their skills to primary school children by school displays.  The Tilly TOE recognizes them as leaders for Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Tracking & Performance in South Australia. It is a pleasure to present this very special award for the achievements of  Ishea, Lacey and Sheila Smith...as they are recognized as recipients of the Tilly TOE !
