Graeme's funeral train was immaculately prepared.
Graeme was one of us - a member of what we call the Puffing Billy family. To quote John Hoy "We wanted to do Graeme and us proud", and we did.

There is supposed to have been a tradition that in England the locomotives of funeral trains always had white coal.
You can't get white coal, so the lumps were individually painted.

At the end of the service Graeme's hearse was led through a guard of honour.
