We have had Nitro since he was 7 weeks old. Nitro gives a 140% every time. We would do a lot better if he only gave 100%, but you can't have everything. Nitro is calm and loveable, exept when competing then he is just go go go. His favourite time of the day is in the evening when he can crawl up on your chest for a big cuddle on the couch. But this can just as quickly be substituted for a great big game of tug-o-war, his favourite. His nick name is Puppet. This is because Natalie pulls all his strings. He hardly ever takes his eyes off Natalie when he is working, often to his detriment, look out for that tunnel...

Nitro has competed in many disciplines and loves them all, with his least like being conformation shows. He does like all the pampering that this involves though. He was retired from the conformation ring in 2002 and desexed the same year. He hasn't done any obedience competitions since Natalie brought Shadow. You just can't fit everything in. He has steadily improved with his agility after Natalie retrained him on how to jump correctly.

Nitro is a very sound dog: Hip score 2:0, Elbows 0:0, Eyes Clear. He has sired one litter of puppies - which included red, blue and black puppies. Nitro holds titles in 5 canine disciplines: Agility, Confirmation, Obedience, Flyball & Endurance.

His career highlights include:
1996 - BCC of Qld Champ Show - Best Opp Sex Baby Puppy.
1997 - Junior in Group L&DKC, Junior Border Collie Dog Brisbane Royal Show, Junior in Group GCCC.
1998 - Earned his Australain Agility Dog, Endurance Test, Companion Dog Obedience titles. CKC Intermediate in Show, CSS Intermediate in Group, KPA&I Intermediate in Group, Toowoomba Royal Show Reserve Challenge (23pts). ADAA Agility Nationals - Maxi Team Event - Runner Up (Team NSW)
1999 - Earned his Australian Conformation Champion, Companion Dog Excellent Obedience & Agility Dog titles. Pet Deli Grand Prix Fastest Weaving Dog - Winner.
2000 - Eukanuba Grand Prix Fastest Weaving Dog - Third. Sired a litter of eight puppies, including red, blue and black.
2001 - Earned his Senior Australian Agility Dog title.
2002 - Earned his Australian Agility Team Dog, Australian Agility Games Dog and Flyball Dog titles. Finally earned a card at a Grand Prix by winning the Maxi Snooker Event.
2003 - Earned his Master Australian Agility Dog & Australian Agility Champion titles.
2004 - Eukanuba Grand Prix - Maxi Team Event - Third (Run For Ya Money). After last year not getting a single contact, this year he didn't miss one. He went really well, shame about the handler though.
2005 - Earned his Gambler Dog and Master Australian Agility Dog 2 titles. Earned an ADAA Bronze Medallion. Earned an International Card for Advanced Jumping. Eukanuba Grand Prix - Maxi Team Event - Second
2006 - Earned his Master Australian Agility Dog 3 & 4, Snooker Dog and Jumping Dog Excellent titles. Earned an ADAA Bronze Medallion. Runner-Up ADCQ Midi Pointscore Dog of the Year.
2007 - Earned his Agility Dog Excellent, AAGD2, MAAD5, MAAD6, Australian Jumping Dog, Snooker Dog-Novice and Strategic Pairs Dog titles. Earned an ADAA Bronze Medallion. Grand Prix - Runner-Up in the Midi Medallion Stakes Invitational.
2008 - Earned his Gamblers Dog-Novice. Transfered to the Regular Register at almost 12 years of age. QLD State Titles - 3rd place Excellent Strategic Pairs. Earned his RMAAD7, RAAGD3, RMAAD8 titles. Dogmania - Won Regular Midi Gamblers, Agility and Jumping trophies. Grand Prix - Midi Regular Individual All Round Challenge - 1st , Midi Regular Individual Agility Challenge - 1st, Midi Regular Individual Games Challenge - 1st Nitro
