A wedding is more about what you say, do and feel, rather than what you wear, or how many courses you serve at the reception. It's about love and not about impressing people. It's about your love - what it means to you. Long after the champagne bottles have been taken away, and you've polished off the last piece of wedding cake, it's the essence of your ceremony - the words that were spoken, the atmosphere created through them, and the love and joy generated through all the special moments of your ceremony.

You don't have to have a budget of $20 - $50,000, or take out a hefty loan to have a memorable wedding.

All of this money could go a long way towards a substantial deposit for a home. Why not keep your wedding simple, while still keeping it beautiful? You could have an absolutely fabulous ceremony in your own back yard, with your nearest and dearest in attendance! Reception centres can be very expensive, costing anything from $70 to $250 a head.

Many excellent restaurants have private rooms available for functions - and can cater for anything from 10 to 100
guests.
Have you thought about having a mid-week ceremony?
What about a breakfast wedding?
Have you considered a sunrise ceremony at your favourite lookout?
Many community centres/neighbourhood centres have beautiful gardens, and you have a wet weather alternative right
there. Contact your local council for more information.
Many nursing homes have beautiful chapels where they would welcome joyous celebrations.
If you have no more than six guests, you are welcome to have your ceremony at the celebrant's private garden at
Leonay (near Penrith). You could then attend your favourite restaurant to celebrate.

The Celebrant's Private Garden complete with fairy lit gazebo is available (at no extra charge)
for your intimate wedding ceremony or romantic elopement (maximum 6 guests)
