Moe - Walhalla Line
Peter Medlin informs me that this was " a three siding yard. Opened by Easter 1905 and in use until at least late 1906. This site was proposed as a site for an Aust. Paper Manufacturers siding.
(It) consisted of the main line and two loop lines, with a possible dead-end siding for ballast loading".
It was never officially named.
[2002 comment] There have been publications that claim that this station was a 9 m 50 ch rather that 8 m 65 ch. There is evidence at the site (8 m 65 ch) of a large station as described above, and no evidence of such a station at the 9 m 50 ch site. Several published photographs (but not all) that are claimed to be of the station at 9 m 50 ch are of the station at this site 8 m 65 ch.
See also the next station.
The following information is of my own devising. I have found no official figures.
