This was the only industrial siding on the Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook line.
C. A. Nobelius, a nurseryman, used the siding (and packing shed) to dispatch his fruit trees to many parts of the world.
The packing shed is now used by the PBPS as a function centre for night trains and other specials.
