Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook line.
Location: Melways 127 K4
Note: This station is located in a park for which an entry fee may be charged by the operators.
The station was originally a name board, opened on the 18/1/1944 (according to weekly notices; Downs claims the 1920s) to serve the picnic area surrounding the man-made lake. The lake and surrounding area were given to the local council by C. A. Nobelius, after whom Nobelius and Nobelius Siding were named.
Click on the yard diagram for a history of the station. This station was rebuilt as part of the Lakeside-Gembrook restoration. Most of the work was finished by July 1999.
