Gould was a small settlement with a hotel. After the subsequent building of the Moondarra dam all buildings were removed to prevent contamination of the water supply. It is possible to access the site by walking in from Moondarra. Be aware that Gould is in a restricted area.

Light Railways #102 of October 1988 has an excellent article by Mike McCarthy "Gould - Moondarra Mills and Tramways". This includes numerous photographs and a double page map.
