Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook line
Location: Heritage (Original) Station Melways 189 G9
Location: New Station Melways 189 G10
Gembrook was the original terminus of the line. Puffing Billy re-opened to Gembrook on the 18th of October 1998.
The VR Weekly Notices only have one specific reference to Gembrook. The most glaring omission in over 100 years of Weekly Notices is that they omitted the opening of the Gembrook Line.

Gembrook station has been rebuilt as part of the Lakeside-Gembrook restoration. Puffing Billy wanted to have a station closer to the center of the town, hence the new station built beside the site of the original "Siberia" siding. The historic platform is the original.
