Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook line

Originally this station was un-named, the weekly notices noting the provision of a passenger platform at 38 miles. (11/9/1928). (The 38 miles was the distance from Flinders St. Station which was the base line for all distances on the Victorian Railways.)
The platform was named Fielder (after a local family) on 5/2/1929.
This station consisted of a name board and a passenger shelter. The re-building of the shelter was funded by the descendants of the Fielder family.
