Upper Ferntree Gully to Gembrook line
pronounced CLEM-aye-tis.
Location: Melways 127 B3
Originally unnamed (an unofficial stopping place?), then Paradise Valley Stopping Place (10/3/1902), Paradise Valley (21/11/1904), Paradise (1/1/1909) and finally Clematis (1/10/1921). What a pity the name was changed. Imagine being able to buy a ticket to Paradise. However it is not likely to be changed back because Victoria has another location named Paradise. (Which explains the change.)

Clematis is used as the locomotive firewood storage area for the Puffing Billy railway.
