Colac to Crowes line
pronounced "BURN-m"
This station was a name board alongside the line. Opened in 1924 after the closure of Watson & Facey's siding for the Cashin family. Houghton says "The point was renamed Birnam in 1926 and in 1927 was moved a short distance. It was regularly patronised until 1929 but saw little patronage after that."
