Welcome

This is the Internet home of 'Army Group South', the ASL (Advanced Squad Leader) Club of Melbourne, Australia.

Army Group South (AGS) has a broad cross-section of players ranging from wily veterans and world class tournament champions to novices and casual players.  The overriding aim is to have fun and to enhance our knowledge of this most detailed and challenging World War II tactical combat board game.

If you're based in or around the Melbourne area and are remotely interested in or intrigued by ASL we recommend you pop on in to our next meeting to see the game played and meet the team.  Indeed there is no better way to enjoy the game than to have regular 'face to face' play with a variety of opponents of various skill levels.

AGS has scheduled monthly meetings.  These meetings are normally on a Friday evening held at the Ashburton Public Library.

AGS also hosts one of Australia's annual ASL tournaments.  ANZACON is staged on or near the ANZAC Day weekend.
