The Great Dark is the story of two sisters Clare and Sally who struggle through time to reconcile the trauma of their childhood.
Sally, the younger sister, pieces together the true relevance of a fairy
tale her older sister told her as a child. She not only uncovers its

Shaun Angus Hall as Maurice in Book 'em.
Maurice Copson is the world’s most hateful parking cop. He takes delight in telling his colleague Warren that he even booked his own mother. Unswerving in his ambition, he sets out to break “old Henry O’Toole’s” record of 499 tickets in one day so he can enter the parking policeman’s “hall of fame”.
Just as he is about to reach his “nirvana” by filling out his 500th ticket his ambition and his life are swiped from him in an act of karmic revenge.

A remarkable and uplifting story of one man's lifetime struggle to gain basic human rights for people living within institutions.
John Roarty (OA) first brought the world's attention to the plight of the physically challenged in institutions when he wrote his inspirational autobiography Captives of Care.
The subsequent film won 11 international awards.
John realised that he could only say so much while he was still living in an institution for fear of reprisals.
Prior to his death in January 1996 he commissioned John L. Simpson to produce the play so he could tell the whole story. The result is an astounding piece of theatre that is moving, insightful and inspirational.
