seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. I am searching for any information that may shed some light on where he went after 1929, any information on his parents, may also help. Born abt 1903 Artarmon, New South Wales, Australia Parents Frederick Turner & Alice Cleasby Occupation Stockman on a property in Barcaldine, Queensland Australia Married 24 Ocotber 1928, St Peters Church, Baracaldine, Queensland, Australia Wife Susan Pearl Bagnall Susan went to Gladstone in 1929 for the birth of their first son Alan Frederick Turner who was born on the 2nd June 1929. After their son was born Susan wrote to Frederick and her mail was returned to her unopened. Susan never saw or heard from her husband again. NEW INFORMATION........... Alice Davies was first married in England to William Sherratt, 3 known children are: - William 1885 -1885 England Eliza Ann 1890-1963 New South Wales, Australia George W 1892-1964 New South Wales, Australia William Sherratt died at Parramatta, New South Wales in 1893. Alice Davies died at Artarmon, New South Wales in 1949
Frederick James Turner married Alice Sherratt (nee Davies) September 19, 1893, Methodist Church, Lithgow, New South Wales But we can not find any record of him arriving in Australia. The following information was found on the Queensland Electoral Rolls. It may or may not be our Frederick Turner.
