As a species we are going thru technological adolescence We have these new intellectual juices flowing that are giving us greater power New power is naively abused We do learn from our mistakes though We have to live with the consequences of those mistakes and this cultivates maturity We think we know what we are doing Maturity looking back on adolescence sees naivety To become old and wise as a culture, we must first pass thru being young and stupid Adolescence is nearing an end Maturity is growing
