"Have your Breakfast... heard it many times! But having difficult to keep the breakfast going... Research shows that breakfast provide 30% of daily energy that body needs. There are 2 scenarios:

  1. If you are the "once start eating cannot stop eating" type of person, then have a light breakfast.
  2. Otherwise have a medium breakfast to boost your metabolism, then an heavy lunch.

During the night the body is deprived of food, so in effect it is fasting. The morning meal breaks that fast and wake up the metabolism. Missing breakfast means the body takes longer to 'wake up' and the metabolism stays in its hibernation phase for longer...

The normal fat burning foods are many... Let's have a look...

Citrus fruits contain Vitamin C which has a fat burning quality.

bullet

Apples contain a chemical call pectin which limits the amount of
fat your cells can absorb.

bullet

Soybeans contain lecithin, break down fatty deposits and prevents
fat from forming on your cells.

Some fats: (e.g, Corn Oil, Peanut Oil, Safflower oil, Sunflower Seed
Oil, Olive oil) release phospholipids or polyunsaturated fatty acids
which can help remove the stored fats from your system. You can find
these unsaturated fatty acids in fish as well.

Fat Burning Diet

It seems every day there is a new fat burning diet gracing the covers of the magazines. Miracle diet, The Hollywood diet, The Bikini diet, there are a million diets that grab our attention and send us into a period of complete misery. So why do we diet? Why not just take up a sensible eating plan and start exercising, instead of torturing ourselves with starvation?

People really are under the misconception that dieting is the only way to lose weight. In actual fact, 95-97% of people who do lose weight on a diet will put the weight back on, plus usually a bit more. There are two main reasons for this.

Firstly, going on a fat burning diet causes your body to think it is heading towards a famine. Obviously, famines are something we don’t experience in our country, but our bodies were designed in a time when food was often scarce. We would have to find our food before we ate it, and there often wasn’t enough to be found. So our bodies have a mechanism that causes the body to start storing food as fat to get us through the tough times when we couldn’t eat. By going on a diet, or restricting your food intake, you are simple making your body store the food instead of burning it for energy. Not exactly what you want from a diet!

The next affect of going on a fat burning diet is the emotional response it causes. How many times have you said to yourself, “I will start my diet tomorrow “ then spent the day gorging yourself? You know this could be the last time you are allowed to eat chocolate cake or hot chips before your diet restricts you from enjoying yourself. Then every time you slip up on the diet, you will use the same theory. Eat as much as you can so you can go back to the diet tomorrow.

The other negative effect of a fat burning diet is when people become obsessed by the very thing they are trying to avoid. The whole time you are on the diet, you are focusing on food. NOT eating food to be exact! But by trying not to eat because of your diet, you usually end up wanting to eat everything in sight. Even if you are successful at your diet, this effect usually kicks in when you go back to your normal foods. You crave all the foods you have missed out on while on the diet, so binge eat to make up for all the diet deprivation. This diet behaviour can stick with people their whole lives, resulting in a life of constantly being on a diet with no long-term results.

What are the Atkins Diet?

Following this program your body will be so starved for carbs (energy) that you will be physically weak all day long and your "blood sugar level" will be so low that your brain will have trouble thinking at work -- your reaction to things will be slower because of your "low blood sugar level" and your low energy level.  If your goal is weight loss and burn fat then this dieting plan is the wrong choice since the side effects are too many and too severe.

This diet plan will make your life miserable and you won't be able to lose weight and achieve your weight loss goals anyway, you'll come to know each day on this diet plan as a day of pure misery, where you feel miserable and weal all day long.

You'll also possibly become physically sick using this diet program to lose weight , because your body will attempt to give you a signal that it needs carbohydrates -- and your body does this by making you physically sick and/or by giving you a severe headache (this is your body telling you to eat carbohydrates so that your blood sugar level can get back to normal and you can have energy again).  This is why using a dieting plan like this won't allow you to lose weight or achieve your weight loss goals, it's just not a sound dieting program and it won't allow you to burn fat.

Why Caveman Diet is not effective?

The Caveman Program is one of the more popular fad diets among the weight loss public, in fact, this diet plan is extremely popular among the public and is known as one of the top fad diets .  However, the Caveman Plan is an odd diet because it is based on a high protein/low carb intake -- along with eating strange foods (which makes this dieting program a very tough way to lose weight and achieve your weight loss goals).

The Caveman Diet plan is a rather simple and crude diet, it's not very scientific and it won't allow you to lose very much weight.  This diet plan is more of a useless "gimmick" than a real diet, just like many other fad diets .  Fad diets are designed to have a catchy "gimmick" so that people will talk about them and get excited about them -- but that's why fad diets do not work very well, because if they did work then our society would not be so overweight still.

This diet plan says that dieters should be eating foods similar to what our caveman ancestors were eating in their daily diets, such as fruits, nuts, vegetables, meats, and berries.  This diet claims that weight loss is best achieved by eating the same foods which our caveman ancestors were eating and not by eating typical processed foods in today's society.  This sounds like a nice weight loss gimmick upon first glance, but if you really want to lose weight and achieve your weight loss goal then this dieting plan is not going to help you in that quest because it's not based on logical dieting principles and common sense.

In reality, this plan does not work as promised and it's little more than a starvation dieting program which will leave dieters feeling miserable, weak, and without energy each day.  Not only will you be miserable while following this bizarre dieting program, but you won't achieve any real weight loss either and that defeats the whole point of using this dieting program.

The dieting plan is appealing because of its "Caveman" fat loss gimmick which sounds nice to many people, but in reality the Caveman Diet plan is just another of the many fad diets which do not work because they are based on starvation dieting principles and outdated fat loss principles.

This diet program is just another example of typical fad programs which do not work, and we recommend not using the Caveman Diet since it is just not effective.

Fat Burning foods The Zone Diet was created by Barry Sears, Ph. D., a biotechnologist who developed drug delivery systems for patients with cancer and heart disease. The Zone is defined as a metabolic state of optimal health when the mind and body function at peak efficiency. Reaching this state requires a balanced food intake such that every snack and meal has the proper ratio of protein (30%), carbohydrates (40%) and fat (30%). Dr. Sears claims that eating “in the Zone” leads to automatic body fat loss, not just weight loss.

Fat Burning foods The South Beach Diet founded by Miami-based cardiologist, Arthur Agatston, M.D., is a program that limits your intake of “bad” carbohydrates and “bad” fats. It includes an initial two-week restrictive phase that jumpstarts the weight loss process by avoiding foods with high glycemic indexes, i.e., foods that spike your blood-sugar level, like baked goods, pasta, starchy vegetables, and alcohol. Dr. Agatston claims that you can lose 8 to 13 pounds during the first two weeks. He also claims that you lose belly fat first because you are better regulating your insulin production, which is responsible for storage of fat around your midsection.

Fat Burning foods Weight Watchers Diet founded by Jean Nidetch in the early 1960s, offers a portion control program in which all foods (in specific amounts) are assigned points values and, depending on your weight, you are allowed a certain number of points per day. Weight Watchers asserts that a healthy rate of weight loss is up to 2 pounds per week, and that the more gradual the weight loss, the more likely you are to rid yourself of extra pounds for good.

Fat Burning foods Fat Flush Plan Diet created by Ann Louise Gittleman, M.S., C.N.S., is a diet that detoxifies the liver and increases the metabolism through a combination of healthy fats, proteins and quality carbohydrates combined in a strict daily routine. The regimen, which has an initial two-week restrictive period, includes, among other things, high-lignan flaxseed oil, unsweetened cranberry juice with water, and herbal supplements like evening primrose oil, dandelion root and milk thistle. Gittleman won’t say how many pounds you can expect to lose during the first phase, stressing fat loss over weight loss, but she does imply that dropping at least 5 pounds is common.

Fat Burning foods Negative Calorie Diet - The Negative Calorie diet works on the premise that certain foods create negative calorie effects (negative calorie foods), allowing you to lose weight. The Negative Calorie diet is controversial because the theory is not scientifically sound. No foods actually possess ‘negative calories’. However, advocates of the Negative Calorie diet say that you can literally eat your way to weight loss.

The theory behind the Negative Calorie diet is extremely appealing. It works on the idea that your body has to burn energy in order to digest certain foods. As a consequence, your body is actually burning fat. Take for example – an orange, which may contain 50 calories, it would take a certain amount of energy from your body to process all of the nutrients and vitamins within the orange. In doing so, you would burn more than 50 calories. However this is also highly dependent on the speed of your metabolism.

The Negative Calorie Diet claims that after consuming certain 'negative calorie foods' (like an orange), your body is left with a net calorie results which is a negative calorie deduction. So for every orange you eat, you should burn off 25 calories. This is why advocates of the Negative Calorie Diet encourage you to eat frequent healthy meals, in doing so you are actually increasing the speed of your metabolism.
