Tonkinese Colours

The Tonkinese comes in four standard colours, seal, chocolate, blue and lilac. Here at Ellaben, we breed all four colours.

	Seal ( Natural) Warm brown with darker brown points.
	Chocolate(Champagne) Warm chocolate with darker chocolate points.
	Blue Bluish grey with darker slate-grey points.
	Lilac(Platinum) Warm lilac with darker lilac points.

Tonkinese Coat Patterns

In addition to the four colours, Tonkinese come in three different coat patterns: Mink, colourpoint and solid. All Tonkinese cats are pointed - the three coat patterns simply describe the degree of contrast between the points and the body. In Australia only the mink coat pattern is allowed on the show bench, however this is not the case in many other countries
