Scottish born Singer John Swan has been on the Australian music scene since he was 14 years old.
First as a drummer, then as Lead Singer with many of this country’s top Rock acts.
Swanee’s first major chart success was a great rendition of Tim Hardin’s " IF I WERE A CARPENTER "
from the album "This Time It’s Different". Success with the next 2 singles from the album immediately
followed, " LADY WHATS YOUR NAME " and " TEMPORARY HEARTACHE " both screamed up the
charts. John played International Support Tours with AC/DC, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Bad Company,
INXS, and Jimmy Barnes.
More Chart success followed when John was asked to join THE PARTY BOYS .
The self titled Party Boys album reached number one in three weeks, and spawned the number one hit single
" HE’S GONNA STEP ON YOU AGAIN " and two top 10 hits " HOLD YOUR HEAD UP " and
