Located in the suburb of Darra in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, ours is a sports and social club.

Our Bowls Club provides a small club atmosphere where the emphasis is on fun and relaxation, priding themselves on the friendliness shown to both Members and Visitors alike. Annual Membership is very reasonable at Full Membership $92.10, Seniors $86.90, Pensioners $65.90, Juniors $32.60 and Social Members $5.

The standard of bowls played at Darra Cementco is high and is continually improving due to Membership growth, free high quality coaching and by treating both newer and experienced players alike in Club events.

Social Clubs and individuals can take advantage of introductory bowls sessions which are available by arrangement, where registered coaches will be provided, flat soled footwear however must be worn.

Social Members are an integral part of Darra Cementco Bowls Club and are well catered for with Entertainment till midnight every Friday night. They are also encouraged to get involved in the sport, with Brekky Bowls normally on the 4^th Sunday of each month and Friday night bowls during Summer months.

 For all Members and Visitors, quality icy cold refreshments and pokies are always available from 10.00am till 7.00pm. There are also many special events organised throughout the year in our hall which is also available for hire.

In our slogan "The Biggest Little Club in the West", Biggest refers to the welcome and hospitality you will receive and the enthusiasm of its members.

Established in 1949 it has approximately 160 men, 27 ladies and 180 social members.
There are plenty of opportunities for beginners to be introduced to the game of Lawn Bowls.
