(From the cover of the CD) - Here Today Gone Tomorrow is initially a collection of Medazzaland Demos, however, seeing as there are only 5 'demo' tracks from the ill fated 1997 album the CD is padded out with tracks mostly taken from the Notorious Demos. The quality of the Medazzaland tracks is excellent.
The Notorious Demos are not so good, dubbed from analogue tape.
Also included are some interesting so called 'outtakes', notably the Manchester Apollo '98 gig where an impromptu performance of Crystal Ship saves us from Simons jokes. Warrens birthday, and the Greatest and Latest introduction to Rio that is missing from a lot of the '98 bootlegs.
The Medazzaland tracks are excellent, especially the original version of Be My Icon or 'Butt Naked' as it was first known with John on vocals. The version of Medazzaland is wonderful with Nicks extra voice-over in a drawling American accent at the end.
The Notorious demos are poorer quality and are taken from the Notorious demo's CD (surprisingly) thank god Simon changed the lyrics to AVTAK.
The rest of the tracks feature the bands comments on the Notorious lyrics taken from the "Reading Record" that came with the '87 Japanese "48 Hours in Osaka" book which also appear as hidden tracks on the Live in Rio bootleg released in 1999 . There is some additional material including piano music and the muzak from the start of a gig that I presume was produced by TV Mania, Nick and Warren.
