Our Workshops:

Following on from our introductory singing workshops in May, we’re running 3 sessions of further exploration of the voice: sharing part-songs, harmonies, warmup techniques and more in a supportive environment where every voice is valued.

With a little help, you’ll be amazed what your voice can do. Four experienced singers share techniques for singing in many different styles.

The voice is deeply linked to people’s sense of self, so our workshops build your confidence to make new sounds, to be heard, and to have fun with your voice. This could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for to sing.

 

Where:

The workshop series will be held in The Stores Rehearsal Space at the Powerhouse, next to New Farm Park on the banks of the Brisbane river.

Street access is via 119 Lamington Street, New Farm (continuation of James St).

 

 

When:

A series of 3 workshops
- Sunday, 29 July, 2007, 2pm - 5pm
- Sunday, 5 August, 2007, 2pm - 5pm
- Sunday, 12 August, 2007, 2pm - 5pm
