DIVINE LOVE IN ACTION

As you progress on towards the barrier of Divine Love in Action the overwhelming keynote at this time must be Love of the World and Service to the World. This outpouring of Christ Love is the only thing which will enable you to pass through this major barrier.

Those that manifest Divine Love in Action are pure channels for the Christ Love and have their consciousness on the Causal and Buddhic levels. No longer does the false self, the lower self, the ego, the personality, intrude upon the workings of the True Self, the Higher Self, the Individuality, the I Am; therefore great miracles are brought about by the Divine love flowing through the purified physical, emotional and mental bodies of the aspirant. Jesus's life is a living example of the great works which can be done by the Christ Power through a purifed channel.

Jesus exhorted not only his disciples, but all mankind to do these works and the greater works. Thus he showed it was the destiny of every man to to become as him, a Christed Man, living in the consciousness of his Higher Self all the time. Buddha demonstrated, that by right living and right meditation, one could achieve a stage of Nirvana or bliss-consciousness - union with the Buddhic consciousness, known as Cosmic or Christ Consciousness. Buddha showed the Christ Consciousness in contemplation; Jesus showed the Christ Consciousness in action, and then went on to demonstarte the next stage of development for mankind - Ascension into the higher realms of life.

You may well ask, "How do I achieve this state of consciousness where the Christ Power may work miracles through me?"
As already stated, the main requirement is a purified lower self and although there are many techniques for accomplishing this, the three set out below are in many ways the most suitable for the aspirant of today: - 
1. Fasting
(a) It purifies the physical body. (Exercise should also be taken to tone up the muscles)
(b) It lightens the mind and helps it concentrate on higher abstract thoughts! This is vital when trying to achieve a transfer of consciousness to a higher plane.
(c) It heightens your spiritual awareness.

2. Pray Unceasingly
Which really means keep your mind unceasingly on attaining these higher states of consciousness; on becoming a pure channel for the Christ Power etc., and on all the many things necessary to attain these levels. In other words, do not be distracted by the everyday, mundane things of life. 

3. Self Observation and Self Analysis
By observing your thoughts, feelings, habits, reactions etc., you see whether these are due to your lower self or whether they come from your Higher Self. Having analysed the source of the thought, the next step is to detach yourself from the negative thoughts or feelings which stem from the lower self. (non attachment.) For example, when you say "I feel sad," analyse which "I" feels sad, for it is not the true or higher "I" but the false "I" of the personality. The real "I" never feels sad, therefore attach yourself to the real "I" and detach yourself from the thoughts of the false "I". With practice the old habits and negative ways drop away and you begin to live in the ETERNAL NOW OF THE HIGHER SELF.

The aspirant's spiritual work approaching the first initiation or 750,000 barrier is normally concerned with helping people on a physical level. Between the first initiation and the 3rd initiation is the time when the aspirant withdraws from the world to fully go into himself. He must understand his very being , "Know thyself O Man", before he can undertake the necessary work which comes with the attainment of the higher initiations. Although he has withdrawn from the world physically, he still works on the inner planes helping people where he is able. On passing the 3rd initiation (1,500,000) he goes forth into the world to demonstrate Divine Love in Action.

This withdrawal from the world and going within has been done by all those requiring to reach greater understanding and perception of that which is around them in the physical world and that which lies beyond in the spiritual worlds. Thus in meditation the deeper meanings of the apparent truths the aspirant has kown are revealed to him. He realises that the truths he has known until now are still but a part of the truth, so he presses on deeper and deeper and rises gradually higher and higher in his perception.

Once time on the inner plane has been accomplished, the aspirant comes forth replenished, becalmed, in tune with himself and the Infinite. He is now ready to do work on the outer planes with greater capability than he ever could have done before. For when he worked on the outer planes, before the lst initiation, he had not seen so deeply into the workings of God's Universe.

Neither, and this is very important, had he seen so deeply into his own being. For by seeing deeply into his own being, he knew his failings, his capabilities, and perceived the real reason for his present life on earth. 
At this stage the aspirant has conscious recall of all his past lives for he is working in the eternal NOW of his Causal Body. From this time onward he has complete control over his present incarnation and any further incarnations which may be necessary to fulfill the law of karma, whether they be on this or another world.
