REALITY
Everything within my individual perception of the the world is relative - i.e.,
entirely related to my very own sense of smell, touch, hearing, etc. My perception of the
world is based solely on my personal viewpoint, which, because of its individuality,
cannot be true reality. True reality doesn't depend on a viewpoint - it simply IS.
REFLEXOLOGY
A natural healing modality in which pressure is placed at meridian end points in the
feet and hands in order to alleviate pain in other areas of the body too painful to touch.
In other words this type of acupressure massage is reflected (reflex action) back along
the meridians of the body to treat the actual area of discomfort.
REGRESSION THERAPY
A hypnotherapist can induce an altered state of awareness in a patient and step by step
take them back in time via the subconscious mind to past events in their present and past
lives. Such a process is called age regression or past life regression. Past life recall
can also be attained through questions and answers via meditation and relaxation
techniques, and guided or automatic writing.
REIKI
(Pronounced Ray-key) A natural healing modality combining Universal Healing Energies
and the self-healing capabilities of the body.
RE-INCARNATION
The name given to the cycle of birth, death and re-birth. A spirit evolves to the
higher realms through a collection of experiences gained by living in a human body. If
more experience is necessary in order to ascend, the spirit enters into the body of a new
born baby time and time again until all necessary lessons on this plane have been
experienced.
RESONANCE FREQUENCY
Sound gives out a vibration or a resonance which is conveyed via sound waves. The
resonance or vibrations of sound can be picked up sympathetically by nearby objects. For
example if you strike a tuning fork the sound waves emitted can by picked up by another
tuning fork placed nearby. This second fork will begin to resonate in sympathy with the
other. Sound is just one form of energy. Everything in Creation is made of Universal
Energy, and this energy emits a vibration or resonance - even the human spirit resonates.
As a spirit evolves in awareness of its divinity its vibrational frequency increases with
each step in its evolution. The finest vibration in Creation is at the Godhead. The
ultimate aim of all humanity is to raise its vibration until it merges as one with its
source - the Godhead, All That Is.
RESONANCE THERAPY
A natural healing modality based upon the principles of Resonance Frequency as outlined
above. The three lower subtle bodies, (mental, emotional and physical) can be stimulated
by amplifying and projecting the life force energies of selected three dimensional
substances. These could be bush flower essences, herbal tinctures, essential oils, incense
and the like. Colours, aromas and sound such as gentle meditation music all add to the
vitalising energies that make up resonance therapy.
REVERENCE
Reverence is a holy perception of life. Reverence is not to be confused with respect.
Respect is a judgement - a response to the qualities we admire, or have been taught to
admire in things outside of ourselves. Reverence is simply the experience of accepting
that all life is of value. Reverence is an attitude by which you honour all facets of
life. Reverence is perception of the soul. Reverence is not an emotion. It is a way of
being. The path to reverence is through the heart, and only an honest awareness of your
feelings can fully open your heart.
