We focus a lot on helping and educating owners and breeders so whites can prosper within the German Shepherd breed. We also have a very strong focus on having fun with your dog and taking part in enjoyable social activities and training.

In light of the above we advocate the following

All breeding stock listed partake in Hip & Elbow Dysplasia Scheme

dotpoint1

Temperament Assessments of all breeding stock listed

dotpoint1

Hosting independent conformation point score shows, awarding ribbons, trophies, prizes and awards to dogs that characterise the German Shepherd Dog.

We show coloured white gene carriers against whites at our shows, so no colour discrimination and dogs are judged equally on their own merits

dotpoint1

We organise events and training days such as obedience, agility, lure-coursing and even just relaxed family fun days where we socialise, meet each other and our dogs and have a bbq

And of course, the opportunity to support your breed!

Information for Breeders

We will assist breeders in achieving the highest potential of their breeding programs. We will support our members by providing them with resources and information they require to build their knowledge so they can produce the best puppies possible.

Our goals

To promote excellence in breeding and other canine-related activities and the ownership of temperamentally and physically sound purebred dogs by responsible owners.

*

To bring together lovers and supporters of the breed in a relaxed community atmosphere.

To hold regular fun days / conformation point shows.

To keep an accurate register and pedigrees of all dogs possible, regardless of colour. We will not exclude German Shepherd Dogs from our Club based on colour. All natural colours of the German Shepherd Dog are acceptable here.

To produce quarterly newsletters updating members on breed news, free litter announcements and advertisements, events, registration statistics etc.

To educate breeders how to get the most from their dogs and breeding programs.

To have an approachable, friendly and helpful group of people who love the breed and taking part in social events with their dogs.

To promote the breed by participating in activities such as puppy training and socialization, obedience, agility, herding, tracking, or any other dog sport.
