South Australia 5th and 6th of May

Had a great trip to South Australia. Stayed with Pooch and the family. They are really a terrific bunch of people.

Broughton was cancelled thank God due to SA floods.

Fished Black Billy and Daves place and managed fish in three sessions and dropped one in the fourth. Got to be happy with that. I used to be happy with one fish a comp and now I am getting a fish in three sessions. That makes me very happy. Tried one of Rumpfys techniques and it really worked. That guy has so much to offer!

Had a huge ant hatch on Sunday and really had a ball. Ambushed fish on their beats as they sipped up red flying ants. That was so cool! Dry fly fishing at its best.
