SUNSHINE FLY CLUB HOME PAGE
August is a pretty crappy month and we tend to lose it anticipating opening season. However, we have had a great few weeks with some terrific exotic tying nights, buddy nights and a guest speaker from New Zealand, Pat O'Keefe as well as a fantastic few days at the AFN Fly Fishing Show.
Today ended a great month with Mick Hall visiting our club rooms for the day, talking about trout and tying up some pretty terrific flies. Thanks to Mustad hooks for supplying the material. They are a terrific company and their hooks are great too.
His knowledge of Entomology leaves my Melbourne University Lecturers for dead and his close up photos of the little beasties that frequent the Goulburn are an awesome sight to see.
Brian and Terry and their little band of helpers put on a great show and feed for us at Lunchtime..."twas the best barbie I've had all day". We know how to feed our blokes here at Sunshine. Thanks also to the two "Poida's" who are the raffle kings of the club.
