FRANK SINATRA TRIBUTE SHOW STARRING BRENDAN JAMES CAREER HIGHLIGHTS • Appeared on UK national TV (BBC Live)and radio program (BBC News) Brendan has recently toured with John Michael Howson's 'HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD' Caberet Show. BIOGRAPHY Singing is Brendan’s passion. From an early age, Brendan has always been an entertainer. In his younger days, Brendan was a lead chorister with both the Victorian Childrens’ Choir and the Australian Boys’ Choir. In his teenage years, he attended Brighton Grammer School and took numerous lead roles in musicals, performed with the school’s premier musicians, directors and orchestras and was the leader of the school choir. Brendan went to spend time with the RMIT University Choir and in turn performed in numerous concerts and staged dramatic productions. During this time Brendan also hosted, co-ordinated and played for many prestigious gala functions for the local community where he resided. In 2000, Brendan went international and moved to London, England to pursue his goal of establishing himself as a world class entertainer. Performing in various showcases, floorshows, tribute acts and jazz festivals, Brendan discovered his flair for both musical theatre and jazz. A major break came when he was asked to play an integral role in the new West End musical, “Theatre Of Dreams” – the story of a Manchester United Football Club and the life and times of Sir Matt Basby. Brendan also went on to enjoy a stint on the West End stage with the cast of “125th Street” which capped off a successful 2 year stint in the UK. Brendan returned to his home town of Melbourne in 2003, and will continue to do what he does best, ENTERTAIN! |
