Men’s
Softball Competition
As well as the Girls and Ladies Softball, we also have a number of
Men’s Softball teams, and we are always looking for more Husbands, Dads,
Brothers or totally unrelated Men to join our teams
Now whenever you
get two teams of men together, there’s going to be some competition. We
just make sure its all friendly, so that we can enjoy
a beer or two after the game.
And if a team is a little short of
players for a game, we usually have players who are happy to play another game,
and step in to fill the gaps.
Last season, most players ended up
playing for at least one other team at least once.
We have players in their teens and some
in their 50’s, but most of us are over 35. The focus is on having a bit
of fun with some mates. Sure there’s a bit of sport involved, and if you
have played Softball or Baseball before it helps. But we have found that most
men pick up the game very quickly, and become competitive in no time at all.
We will be having a few lead-up games to
break us into the new season, and a few “come and try” games. We
would love to have as many people along as possible to give it a go.
