Jacobian Lager Original - The Father of all Beers

Jacobian Lager Original was the first beer to be brewed by Jacobian Microbreweries. The full story on how Jacobian was first brewed is shown in Jac Story, available for viewing on this site or in many good video stores.

Original is a heavy lager with a licoricecent candy floss after taste only describable by God's themselves. Original is best served with any dish that requires a strong beer to turn that special meal into a night you won't forget. After all, "After a Jac, You'll be on your Back". 20 million Australian's can't be wrong.

Jacobian Microbreweries has produced in excess of 3.8 million litres of Jacobian Original since early 2005, much of that not leaving the brewery.

A stringent advertising campaign has seen Original remain on top of the premium beer industry in the 2005 - 2006 season. When asked, the two CEO's of Jacobian Microbreweries stated:

"It's not the advertising that makes Original number one, that's just for fun. It's the taste and loyalty our fans have shown that keeps us up there"

Early in 2006 the Brewery opened a new advertising scheme - if you turn up at the brewery at 3pm and say - "Gimme a Jac and I'll give you one back" and hand over another bottle of another breweries beer, a brand new Jacobian Original will be yours. This campaign is still running today which often see's lines of people lining up in front of the brewery for the 3pm swap over.
