At Jacobian Breweries, we often receive questions about our products. Here are some of the more popular questions asked.

Q1) I heard Jacobian Lager is brewed in a bath tub. Is this true? - Johnny, Melbourne Aus
Thanks for your question Johnny,
Yes, it is partially true that Jacobian Lager, Redlich Kwong, Mehico and Ultra are brewed in a bath tub. The bathtub is where the sanitisation occurs. The large brewing vats are filled with chlorinated water and then emptied into the bath tub. It would be impossible to undertake the brewing process in a bath tub unless you could manufacture an air-tight lid for the bath.
Sincerely,
The Team at Jacobian Breweries
Q2) What is the strangest thing you have found in a sealed bottle of Jacobian? - Suzie, NT Aus
Thanks for your question Suzie,
Due to Health and Safety regulations we cannot release this information. Remember that fermentation involves sugar and yeast attacking each other in a fight to the death to produce what we all love about Jacobian, the alcohol. This process would probably kill any germs on what you may find in your Jacobian. If you feel strongly about something you found in your Jacobian, let us know at the guestbook.
Sincerely,
The Team at Jacobian Breweries
Q3) Is it true that each time a Jacobian Original is brewed, a new Jacobian flavour is born? - Bobby, QLD Aus
Thanks for your question Bobby,
Yes, you are correct. Each time we "put down a brew" here at the microbrewery we brew one vat of Original Jacobian and a new flavour. This is how Redlich Kwong and Mehico were born. Jacobian Ultra is now in the brewing process and should be available soon.
Sincerely,
The Team at Jacobian Breweries
Q4) Is it true that if you see the Jacobian being brewed your eyes will burn up and fall out and then you will be shot due to confidentiality at the Brewery and that if you kill or touch "Jac Man" you become "Jac man" and are responsible for the deaths of those who enter the brewery? - Jessie, ACT Aus
Thanks for your question Jessie,
Yes.
Sincerely,
The Team at Jacobian Breweries
