Holiday Report
30/05/09
Well, it’s time to report on the trip.
As you can see from these photographs taken using Adrian’s new Canon Powershot (reviewed 16 April), our excursion included a round of golf at one of Asia’s most difficult courses. The Bintan Lagoon Golf Resort is world renowned for its exceptionally designed championship 18-hole golf courses.

The Jack Nicklaus Sea View Golf course and Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Golf course both offer spectacular signature holes, fast greens, undulating fairways and scenic water hazards. Adrian and I played the more difficult Jack Nicklaus designed 18.
Our journey took us by air and road to Singapore, Kuching, Melaka, Kuala Lumpur, Penang Island and finally by boat Langkawi in the far north of Malaysia. We finished with a lovely weekend at the Indonesian Island of Bintan.
