Wagon
Jack.
Used
by Arthur Sherwood senior on his farm at Woorak West. Also used to jack the
wagon up to grease the wheels when Arthur Sherwood jnr and family made the
wagon trip to NSW in 1912

The Clock was a wedding present to Arthur and Minnie
Sherwood in 1882.
It is 48 centimetres high by 24 centimetres wide. The inscription on
the back reads, Asonia Clock Company, U.S. H.R.W 17-7-79.
In the possession of B. Sherwood, Greensborough, Victoria.

Cooking Pot
The Boiler (Cooking Pot)
was given to Arthur and Minnie Sherwood as a wedding present
in 1882. It was taken to Bonnie Doon, NSW by Minnie
around 1910. It was later kept by her grandson Claude Sherwood
in Albury, NSW.

Arthur and Jane
Sherwood's horses photographed 1915.
Left to Right:
First horse not known, Violet, next horse not known, Jim, Bell, Jess and
Nugget.
Jess, Jim and Violet
were used to pull the wagon from Nhill to Bonnie Doon, NSW in
1912.
Arthur would bring the horses back to the pines to feed and rest
them in the lunch break. He would take a week's supply of chaff and
store it there for the horses.
A photographer from Culcairne visiting farms in the area persuaded Arthur
to let him photograph the horses.

Minnie
Sherwood and Grandchildren.
Photographed in Bonnie Doon, NSW in 1921.
The photo of Minnie and her grandchildren was taken in 1921.
According to her grandson Lance Sherwood, Bill and Mary Lynch drove
from Nhill to 'Bonnie Doon' in their first Dodge motor car for a
holiday.
It was decided to photograph Minnie and the grandchildren. Someone
went into town and picked up a girl by the name of Gibbons who took
the photo.
