- always get into the boat on the left hand side
- no swearing in the boat
- carry the boats whenever possible
- only one person coaching/calling efforts in the boat
- positive boat talk is to be used wherever possible
- generally number #3 paddler calls the changes, and, most importantly
RESPECT THE CANOE AND ALL WHO PADDLE IN HER
