The Durand Water Filters are designed to fit all major brands of ceramic replacement filters, we presently choose to offer the Durand Water Filter system fitted with what we consider the world's best ceramic filter element, the "Royal Doulton Ceramic Filter Candle"

These ceramic gravity fed filters will remove up to 93%- 100% of  Chlorine, Bacteria and Amoebas (such as Giardia & Cryptosporidium) Suspended Solids, Aluminium, Copper, Organic pesticides (such as Lindane), some heavy metals, bad tastes and smells. --- They will NOT remove some of the healthful minerals such as calcium, magnesium and potassium.
