COLOR ME RED

What is black - what is white, we're all precious in his sight
Color of skin matters not though your soul means such a lot
Give your heart to Jesus, make him lord and king
To know how much he cares for us can make a sad heart sing

Have you heard how much He loves you, how much He really cares
This world might say we cant unite,  black is black and white is white
Jesus says, my beloved, I gave all that I possibly could
For you to come just as you are, Its not Me who thinks you’re no good

I search for those who are willing to place their trust in Me
I will enter into your life, I am the truth that will set you free
So let the Spirit draw your heart onward to that place
Of trust in our Lord Jesus regardless of your race

For the sacrifice that Jesus made was not so men could talk
Of black or white or yellow, but, that united they may walk
With head held high in dignity knowing restoration
Black and white together with every other nation

The Fathers voice says, "Peace, be still, the color I chose was red
For when your life is hid in Christ, I see only the blood that He shed"
