THE AUTHOR OF CHRISTMAS DAY

Many years ago in a small country town
The first Christmas day came to be
It happened because of a special childs birth
Man's hope for eternity

This day has a very special meaning
For those who love Jesus as Lord
Because of it their's is a far greater gift
Than any man's wealth could afford

From such a very humble place
Came the greatest one to ever set foot on this earth
What a wonderful gift from our Father God
To send Jesus through human birth

Christ is the author of Christmas day
For Him we all should be able
To give all other days in all of our years
To this child who was born in a stable
