Compass I, 2001 - 2002
Four-channel DVD Video Projection Installation

The compass is the central element of my video installation. Positioned in the middle of a room between four screens, it shows that each of these screens is aligned with one of the four primary geographical directions - North, South, East and West.
The installation explores the cyclical nature of the desire to escape the authority of conventions.
