With over 18 years of experience in the TV and film industry, Nick brings a wealth of knowledge and fervour to his work that is always apparent in the final product.

Having worked in a variety of roles since graduating from courses in Media Studies, Video Production, Film, and Cinematography, Nick has been involved in over 30 short films, worked as a sound recordist and cameraman for the Australian TV networks, and produced/directed award winning short films and large scale documentaries.

Nick currently freelances in the industry and when he's not on a shoot, he's working on a number of projects in various stages of development from a TV series pilot to a feature film.

Cameraman/DOP CAMERA OPERATIONS Having worked in the television industry for almost 2 decades, Nick has an extensive camera operation and lighting background. From D.O.P. on numerous independant short films, to broadcast tv commercials and corporate videos.

BROADCAST RATES (as at 1/7/09) Cameraman/DOP - including full camera and lighting production kit: HALF DAY (up to 5 hrs) = varying from approx $550 to $800 + GST (depending on equipment and shooting format from DVCAM to Digi-Beta etc.) FULL DAY (5 to 8 hrs) = varying from approx $900 to $1250 + GST (depending on equipment and shooting format from DVCAM to Digi-Beta etc.)

10ft FILM CRANE This camera crane with 10 feet or 3 metres camera elevation is very useful to add that extra something cinematic look to any short film. Available for use on anything from music video shoots, short films, or any other kind of production requiring a crane shot. Available for hire or included on shoots where Nick is DOP if necessary. (At an additional rate)
WESTERN & PIPE TRACK DOLLY Nick also owns a western dolly (with inflateable tyres) which is useful on flat surfaces for doing curved tracking shots. Another dolly than runs on straight PVC pipe track is also availabe. Available for hire or included on shoots where Nick is DOP if necessary. (At an additional rate)
PHOTOGRAPHY With a keen photographic eye and lighting skill, Nick occasionally does some stills photography such as actors headshots and landscape photography.
EDITING & POST PRODUCTION With experience in editing and visual effects, Nick is able to offer a complete production service from shooting through to editing if required.
AUDIO SERVICES Although Nick now specialises more in the field of camera operations, he has over ten years experience in broadcast audio in everything from brodacast television drama, lifestyle, commercials, current affairs, corporate videos and film.
RATES (as at 1/7/2008) If audio is important for your production a Sound Recordist with full kit of gear, including radio mics can be supplied. Full Day = $500 + GST (5-8 hours) Half Day = $400 + GST (Up to 5 hrs) (Overtime @ $40 for first hour and $50 for each additional hour) Discounts available for longer bookings.
