Family Photo Album

2008 In Pictures

In February we had the storm water drain replaced due to blockage by next door neighbours tree roots.

Cathie's niece Rebecca Lovett celebrated her 18th birthday in March.

On 23 March, Cathie's nephew Ryan visited and had some play time with Connor before we all headed out for a family BBQ.

We followed Rebecca in her new car.

The BBQ was held at North Pine Dam, Bullockys Rest. Family members there included Cathie's neice Alice and sister Belinda.

Sister Dimity.

Niece Rebecca and international school house guest.

In late March I was fortunate enough to travel for work. Townsville in northern Queensland  was one of the towns I got to visit. I couldn't help but have a meal and a beer at the Cowboys Rugby League Club.

Another stopover was Cairns. This the view from the boardwalk.

Darwin was especially interesting as it was my first visit into the Northern Territory. Here I spotted the ABC studios and the remoteness of the place was typified by the size of the satellite dish.

Mackay was also on the agenda. This the view of the marina from the hotel.

In April we visited Seaworld. While there we went to Shark Bay.

We saw the Dugongs.

The boys were excited to visit the set of Toasted a TV show broadcast from Seaworld. Unfortunately the presenters were unavailable however the cut outs are pretty reasonable look a likes.

There was also a photo opportunity with a walrus.

The boys took a ride through the Bermuda Triangle.

We sat and watched the dolphin show.

The boys took on the challenge of The Flume.

Connor was the only one brave enough to go onboard The Pirate Ship.

In early May we attended a family get together at Evans Head to celebrate Mothers Day. Mark's niece Chloe & father Fred were also there.

A group ended up on the grass enjoying the sunshine.

On 16 May we celebrated Cathie's birthday.

In early June we set about replacing 31 metres of side fence.

The timber.

Around the same time, a couple of passing ducks decided to take advantage of the swimming pool for a bit of R & R.
