This site is dedicated to all Petrol Heads past and present. I have had an interest in vehicles in general since that day in 1947 when I first took notice of my father's 1921 Tipo 501 Fiat.  This is a brief record of my pursuits past and present. An interest in cars, boats, planes and trains has allowed me to meet and communicate with many wonderful people. It has also enabled me to spend much too much money.  Remember, you don't have to be mad to play with old cars, but it sure helps!

Whilst embarking on the development of this site I quickly discovered that I either didn't take photos of my experiences or failed to keep them.  I have featured vehicles for which I have a sufficient number of photos to warrant an exclusive page.   I love looking at old cars, driving old cars, playing with old cars and listening to old cars, so you see, I do have varied interests.  My wife Brenda and I have visited 32 countries thus far, and apart from the obligatory castles, forts, churches and ruins, I have managed to visit many motor museums and competition events for historic vehicles.  The rest of my family consists of #1 daughter Tahlia, 22, #2 daughter Sarsha, 20 and a Golden Retriever called Merlin, 4.  My wife and daughters would kill me if I put photos of them on the web and Merlin won't stand still long enough for me to take a photo.

My current folly is a 1957 Jaguar XK150fhc.
