I have been here with husband and 22 month old daughter for about a year. Next baby is due about the time of the reunion, and am actually going to Cape Town to have it. (All the glamorous people travel to Africa to give birth!) Malawi is a crazy beautiful place. I work as a paediatrician in a hospital in Lilongwe, the capital city and it is full of daily adventures. The country is worth seeing – we have tons of space and love to have visitors from home anytime – so please get in contact if you are travelling around. Now, I spend my time trying to get through a Diploma of Nutrition, changing nappies and trying not to think about having to go back to work next year. One person who inspired me at Santa was… I’m not sure that any one person really inspired me, but I think the school produced confident women with an “I can do anything” attitude. I always appreciated that Margaret O’Shea treated Year 12 students like adults. The book/movie/song/event that changed my life so far is… Meeting Lily Liu (Chinese medicine guru) who enabled Jordan and myself to have our long awaited son In 10 years I’d like to be… Healthy, wealthy and wise with an expanded family and a holiday house in Greece!
