Plan and Prepare

There are two ways that training providers can plan for providing information to students with a print disability:

  • Use Universal Design principles.  Staff involved in writing, formatting, and purchasing learning materials need to know how to design these materials to be as accessible as possible from the start.

  • Be prepared by identifying options for timely, effective and efficient conversion of inaccessible materials.
