“Genius is the ability to reduce the complicated to the simple.” C.W. Ceram

There are so many options for how to present print-based materials - choices of paper colour, font, graphics, icons, borders, shading, layout are almost unlimited.  We can create amazing documents from our own desk.

The trick often is to make document design easy and attractive to read.

This section presents ideas on language and layout so that:

  • readers want to read their materials

  • they understand what they are reading

  • and they learn from what they are reading

Do you want to know about accessible formats and how to convert existing materials?
