At STAR Center our therapists use iLs for a few key reasons: it can be customized to each individual’s needs, the bone conduction delivery is a wonderful vestibular supplement, and the quality of the music is remarkable.  We use iLs in most of our children’s programs, and we often send clients home with an iLs Focus system for continuation of therapy once their intensive short-term program is complete.

Before coming for Listening therapy, Louie was a very difficult child. He was very anxious and always a sad looking boy. This affected his school work and was the reason why he had no friends.

Dear Harry, I … started to feel changes by about the 3rd week, which was very exciting! ... 

I have also noticed some changes in myself. I find that I am more comfortable being with other people, and more comfortable expressing myself verbally. This has led to increased confidence, and much greater enjoyment of social activities. When one has to concentrate to participate socially, it can become very tiring, and sometimes we can find it is easier to withdraw from the rest of our noisy world.

I have seen huge changes in Nicholas since we started the program. He was a very angry and unhappy little boy for no reason I could see. Now he is full of life, always smiling, loves school and learning, always wanting to learn more.

He now knows when he gets angry and why and can control it. This program has changed all our lives and most importantly, Nicholas can lead a normal 6 year old’s life. Thank you Harry
