This photo of Tamsin was taken in our yard in December 2011. It is hard to believe she is now 9 years old!

We are so grateful to Petra Junehall from Dragongardens Kennels in Sweden for sending Tamsin to us in December 2002. Tamsin has quietened down somewhat as she has entered her twilight years though still enjoys to play with the other dogs and going to the park for a romp! She has been a fantastic mum to her 2 litters of pups and has become a very much loved member of our Leo family. Tamsin began working with me in the Resposnsible Pet Education program in 2009 and has continued her work in 2010, 2011 and again this year.

These photos show a young Tasmin. She is pictured lying on the floor at home, not long after coming out of quarantine; at the Adelaide Royal Show in September 2003; sitting in the yard with Mitta; and with Marshall at show in September 2004.



We were thrilled when, on the 17th April 2005, Tamsin was awarded Best Intermediate, Best Bitch and Best Exhibit in the Victorian Leonberger Association's Open Show under UK judge Ian Richardson. In the Championship Show, Tamsin was second in Intermediate Class and then went on to take Reserve Challenge Bitch under judge Guido Perosino from Italy. She is pictured with one of her ribbons and trophy for the Open show; at the 2005 Royal Melbourne Show in the ring and saying hello to a young fan; and at Tucks Ridge Winery after a paddle in the dam.



Tamsin became a mum in January 2006. She is pictured in the puppy run with 4 of her pups and with her daughter Hope in August; and in 2007 at the pet Expo; and dropped on the decking at home.



She is pictured in June 2008 in with Hope and her pup Harry, as he tries to escape from the whelping box and relaxed in the yard with Calyph in December. Hope and Tamsin are pictured together at the park in March 2009; and with her son Tsar as they investigated a muddy puddle in January 2010.

Tamsin has had 2 litters of pups and what a fantastic mum she was to them all. There were 6 puppies in her first litter which was born on the 25th January 2006. The sire of the litter was Konig.
