Welcome to the scorching heat of the Sun! But without the Sun there would be no light, wind, rain or heat. One million Earths can fit into the Sun, suprisingly because you would think that the Earth was much bigger than the Sun. In about 5 billion years the Sun will expand and all people on Earth will burn, but don't worry you won't be alive at that time!  Mercury is the closest planet to this hot rock. Pluto is the furthest planet away from the Sun. The sun's temperature is over 200 degrees.
